Where will your budget take you?
These are advertised “from” prices per adult. Compare within each trip type. Sale dates, travel windows and baggage can make a big difference.

Virgin Lite offers exclude checked baggage and seat selection. Europe Choice baggage depends on the operating carrier; confirm the allowance in the quote. Prices have not been checked through final checkout.

Advertised AUD per adult · unexpired offers in this editionHoliday package watch
Brisbane departures confirmed by the provider. These are per-person prices for two travellers sharing, not flight-only fares. Exact travel dates and room availability must be checked.
Dated package history
Qantas Holidays displays rounded per-person amounts. Use the quoted total for two when comparing. Current cards were source-checked on 8 November 2026. Crystalbrook Bailey returned to highlights on 3 November. Newcastle remains in history because fresh confirmation was unavailable; this does not establish that it expired. Room, travel period and flight conditions apply.
Start with a place.
Search the watchlist below, or look up any destination. This first edition does not price every route. A missing price means no verified offer in this edition—not that flights are unavailable. Connections and operating days vary.
Search opens Google Flights with Brisbane as the origin; choose dates, passenger count and baggage there. The directory is a planning watchlist, not a claim that every destination has a nonstop service. Check Brisbane Airport’s direct network ↗

What does “standard economy” mean here?
There is no single standard economy fare. This edition records published cash economy offers. Fare families and conditions are labelled unknown where the provider listing does not supply them. Domestic offers are one-way; international offers are return. Checked baggage, seat selection, flexibility and stopovers are not normalised into one price.
The planned like-for-like benchmark is one adult, return economy, a seven-night domestic or fourteen-night international stay, departing roughly eight weeks ahead, with at least 20 kg checked baggage and no self-transfer. Until matching quotes are collected, no “typical fare”, saving percentage or cheap/expensive rating is shown.
How current are the prices?
Each edition is a source check, not guaranteed seat inventory. Offers leave the current view after their sale deadline, and the page flags a source review older than 48 hours. A scheduled review can miss a short flash sale. Confirm the total on the airline or package provider’s website before paying.
All sale deadlines shown here use Brisbane time (AEST, UTC+10). AEDT deadlines are converted one hour earlier.
Where is the price-history graph?
Observation history starts on 29 October 2026. A single observation cannot establish a trend, and sale fares for different travel windows are not a like-for-like time series. Future editions can build the standard benchmark above; no historic prices or trend line have been invented.
Sources and confidence
High confidence: the linked providers published the listed offer amounts and conditions. Unknown: whether a seat or room remains available at that price for your chosen dates. The ranking is only among recorded offers, not the whole market.
- Virgin Australia: 29 October sale fares and Lite exclusions
- Virgin Australia: Europe advertised fares
- Virgin Australia: updated sale terms
- Qantas Holidays: Brisbane Fly + Stay packages
- Qantas Red Tail deadline terms
- Jetstar South Australia sale: expired 1 Nov, 10:59 pm Brisbane; no BNE price verified

Reviewed 8 November 2026: Virgin’s Europe sale closed on 30 October at 11:59 pm Brisbane time; its fares remain in dated history. Virgin’s Red-dy for take off sale closed on 4 November at 11:59 pm AEST, for selected travel 30 November 2026–24 September 2027. Eighteen advertised BNE one-way fares were first verified on 1 November and reconfirmed on 4 November. The sale opened on 30 October at 1:01 pm Brisbane time. These 18 offers and the Qantas Red Tail offer are now in dated history, outside current highlights. Domestic Choice includes one 23 kg checked bag; Lite excludes checked baggage. Virgin’s NSW sale opened 2 November at 12:01 am and closes 8 November at 11:59 pm AEST: BNE–Newcastle from A$95 and BNE–Sydney from A$115 one way, Economy Lite, for selected travel 5 January–16 September 2027. These are separate offers from Red-dy, with different travel windows. The Book early fares have a later deadline of 17 November at 11:59 pm Brisbane time. The route listing supplies prices but leaves eligible travel dates to the booking search. Dated sale history: Happy Hour ran on 5 November, 3–10 pm Brisbane time (4–11 pm AEDT), for selected Economy Choice travel 5 January–20 March 2027. No BNE route prices were published at the 5 November morning review, so no priced Happy Hour offer was recorded. Jetstar’s Sebel Whitsundays listings returned conflicting prices and closing dates; the package remains withheld pending confirmation. Its detail page could not be retrieved on 6 November.
Dated observation: Virgin Book early BNE–Rockhampton Economy Lite was A$172 one way when checked on 5 November at 8:55 am AEST; the provider lists A$175 on 6 November at 8:41 am AEST. Checked baggage is extra; route travel dates are unspecified. These advertised observations do not establish a like-for-like fare trend.
Madrid was added to the destination watchlist on 8 November. Singapore Airlines lists return travel from Brisbane and dates its fare to 18 June. Check the current quote for your dates.
Europe travel windows differ between Virgin’s launch release and its current sale terms. The board uses the current general window, flags the Brisbane–Barcelona revision and sends you to the provider to verify eligible dates.
